Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, talking about the recent performance of the Pakistan team, said, The current state of the team is nothing new, it has been like this for the last three years. I have no magic wand. Not that everything will be fixed immediately.
During a press conference in Lahore on Monday, Mohsin Naqvi added, Some decisions show immediate impact while some are for long-term benefits. When I took office, some people wanted it from day one. That I will resign but I will leave the position only when the condition of the team improves.
Expressing his views on the new management of the Pakistan team, Mohsin Naqvi said, Waqar Younis has given us excellent guidance in the last few days. He is a great cricketer and he has mentored the rest of the team like Misbah-ul-Haq, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Saqlain Mushtaq and Shoaib Malik have helped in finalizing.
Regarding Waqar Younis' handling of the affairs of the Pakistan cricket team, Chairman PCB said, "Waqar Younis worked as an advisor for the initial three-four weeks, but now he will take over the team as a mentor. These five The arrival of cricketers will definitely benefit the team."

Talking about the changes in the Pakistan team, Mohsin Naqvi said, The selection committee does not have any database that tells us that these are 100 players, select from them.
