England have announced their home fixtures for next season. The men's and women's teams will play against India at the same time in the summer. The ECB (England Cricket Board) has also said that Lord's will host its first women's Test match when India returns for a one-game match in 2026.
The West Indies men's and women's teams will play together next season. England will play a one-game Test against Zimbabwe before finishing the summer with games against South Africa.
England's international cricket season begins on May 21. England Women against West Indies in three T20 then three ODIs.
The men's team will begin with a four-day Test match against Zimbabwe from May 22 to 25. This is their first match since 2007. After that, the men's team will play three ODIs and three T20 against the West Indies.
The England men's team will play five Test matches against India, starting from June 20 at Headingley Other matches will be played at Edgbaston Lords, Old Trafford and The Oval.
Along with this, the England women's team will play five T20 matches against India, starting from June 28 at Trent Bridge. After that, they will play three ODIs, including one at Lord's.
In August, the England men's team will play six white-ball games against South Africa, and then three ODIs against Ireland.
ECB chief Richard Gould said: "We are delighted to have England's men's and women's teams playing at the same time. It has been popular with fans and has helped women's cricket grow. Excited to do it again for the Indies and India series fans next year, and we hope they support both teams.
Visiting the Indian cricket team is always a big deal and a highlight of the summer. The last Test series for the men was very exciting, and I'm sure next year's series will be just as exciting. Our women's series is always competitive.
I am delighted that we are welcoming the West Indies teams for the white ball series this year after the men's Test series.
Welcoming Zimbabwe in a men's Test match will be a historic moment, their first visit in over 20 years. Test cricket is loved in this country, and we want to support developing countries so that the format continues.
I am also excited to confirm that the Indian Women's team will return to play in the first Women's Test match at Lord's against England Women in 2026. It will be a special and important occasion.
