The ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024 will be held in the United Arab Emirates from October 3 to 20, where the Indian cricket team will take on Pakistan on October 6.

The tournament was earlier to be held in Bangladesh but now it has been shifted to United Arab Emirates. The matches will be played at Sharjah Cricket Stadium and Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
This year, ten of the best women's teams from around the world will compete for the title.

Both India and Pakistan have been drawn in Group A along with six-time winners and reigning champions Australia, New Zealand and Sri Lanka. Bangladesh, England, South Africa, West Indies and Scotland will be the hosts in Group B.

Sri Lanka and Scotland have qualified for the tournament by reaching the final of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup Qualifier in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Group matches will be played in Sharjah and Dubai, and the top two teams from both groups will advance to the semi-finals, which will be held in Dubai on May 17 and 18. The final will be held on October 20 in Dubai.
Bangladesh will play their opening match against Scotland in Sharjah on October 3.
2023 runners-up South Africa will play their opening match against the West Indies in Dubai on October 4. Australia, the defending champions, will open their campaign against Sri Lanka in Sharjah on October 5.
India will begin their campaign on October 4 against New Zealand and face defending champions Australia on October 13.
